KYA HUA ? KUCH KAAM HAI KYA?
Hello Readers. Let me introduce myself first as its my first blog here. My name is Gurpreet Singh. Yes u got it right me a Punjabi, but not from Punjab :) ( as many still think that all Punjabi are from Punjab) i love reading and listening bollywood songs. I was thinking from past few month to write some blog sort of thing but not getting anything to write on. But yesterday i saw something which disturbed me and i thought to write on it.
Yesterday i saw a person when i was standing outside my shop . He crossed a rickshaw with a girl sitting on it then suddenly turns back and stared her. he kept staring for 4-5 secs .This made the girl uncomfortable ,which was obvious, and she start looking other way. I felt so bad that when the person , around 30-35 years of age crossed me i stopped him and asked what you were looking? Do you know her? He said nothing and accelerated his bike. This was not the first time i was seeing this but it happens all the time . Don't know what fun it is to turn around to watch a girl. Not only boys buts men of all age do this.
Guys , do you think doing this will ring bells in her heart and doing this again and again with the girl can kick start your relationship, or are we slave to that extent to our hormones that we refuse to realize how the girl will feel and what it will make us think afterward about us. We are too protective for the women's in our family and never want anything such happens to them when they are outside, but what happens to our thinking process when they are not the women's of our family.
Incident like this seems so small and many have taken it for granted saying nothing can be done about it. But i think its the start for them and they will do it with everyone if not stopped. On the other hand this will give them the courage to do such indecent acts again . I think just asking them politely "kya hua ?kuch kaam hain kya ?" will work . Such cowards will not even reply and move on as they know its not a nice thing they are doing. And girls can add bhaiya or uncle to the question:)
So, lets not allow it to become a habit and make them feel that we are okay with it. And Readers lets me know what u think.....
